Very pleased and honoured to be chosen as Verema’s Bodega del Mes.

2004 fue la primera cosecha de nuestra bodega que está localizada en el municipio de Almáchar, en el corazón de la comarca malagueña de la Axarquía. Esta región montañosa de pronunciadas pendientes y suelo pizarroso junto al Mediterráneo está considerada como una de las zonas vitivinícolas más antiguas de Europa.

Con los naturalmente dulces (sin alcohol añadido, es decir con contenido de azúcar y alcohol procedente exclusivamente de la fermentación natural de la uva) nuestra bodega redescubre un estilo de vino que se hacía antes del siglo XVII cuando las primeras exportaciones introdujeron la práctica de encabezar el vino para preservarlo durante las largas travesías por mar.

One of the reasons for starting this blog was to connect with my customers on a more personal level. While it is gratifying to receive high praise from the experts, I am always very interested in hearing what other wine lovers think about my wines.
